About Sanderson

Sanderson is a leading charity embarking on a major ERP system migration. We are seeking skilled Data Engineers to support this critical project or backfill positions for permanent engineers focused on the migration.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Data Engineers to join our team and drive significant change in our data management and analytics service. Your work will support the evolution of our data platform, introducing new data domains, and enhancing data sharing internally and with partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a new Data Lakehouse to support our business operations.
  • Utilize technologies such as Data Integration, Master Data, and Data Science/Analytics to drive business insights.
  • Provide best practices for integrating systems and mastering data sets to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with Analysis teams to deliver data and analytical outputs that inform business decisions.
  • Design, create, and maintain data integration pipelines and APIs for sharing datasets across the organization.
  • Ensure data mastering, integration, reference data management, and data quality to support business operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Databricks.
  • Experience with complex ETL routines, data modelling, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience with ERP migrations, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and APIs is beneficial.
