About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Exeter Hospital. As a key member of our oncology and hematology team, you will provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to patients under the supervision of a board-certified oncologist/hematologist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology and hematology patients, including education, counseling, and support throughout their treatment and survivorship plan.
  • Work closely with faculty and nursing staff to develop and coordinate a plan of care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities to provide 24/7 coverage for our patients.
Requirements
  • Active MA NP or PA license.
  • BLS/ACLS certification.
  • MA board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG or PA.
  • Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA for APRN.
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy card.
  • OCN certification within one year of employment.
  • Oncology/Hematology experience is strongly preferred.
