About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mental Health Practitioner (Registered Nurse - Mental Health) to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and risk evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to promote professional development and growth.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience of working with adults with mental health problems and a strong understanding of the nursing process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1987 and the Mental Capacity Act.
