Construction Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Work Matters Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Valuation and Invoicing: Draft and manage valuations, invoices, and sub-contract orders to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present internal reports, including cash flow statements, to inform project decisions.
- Cost Management: Provide cost reports to the project team, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
- Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, engage with site teams, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Additional Works: Gather and process information for additional works, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong background in the construction industry, supported by relevant qualifications (HNC and/or A levels).
- A proactive approach to career development, with a willingness to undertake further qualifications as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A full driving license and access to transport for site visits.
