Graduate English Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate English Teaching Assistant to join our thriving secondary school in Manchester. As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students in achieving academic excellence, develop their analytical and critical thinking skills, and foster a love for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support during English lessons, ensuring students engage with texts and develop key language skills
  • Develop lesson plans and create resources to engage students in literature and writing
  • Offer personalized support to students needing extra help with reading, writing, and exam preparation
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of GCSE coursework
  • Collaborate with experienced English teachers to deliver innovative and creative learning strategies

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of up to £520 per week
  • Sociable working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Full-time, long-term Graduate English Teaching Assistant position
