Student Engagement Officer

At Global Banking School, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Student Engagement Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of student engagement strategies that enhance the student experience and promote academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Student Engagement Systems: Ensure that GBS Student Engagement systems, policies, and procedures are consistently implemented and monitored across all higher education provision and GBS campuses in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds.
- Partner Engagement: Help ensure that the Student Engagement systems, policies, procedures, and systems of partner awarding bodies and colleges are fully and consistently implemented across programmes delivered by GBS.
- Student Representative Support: Work with Programme Administrators in the election of all Student Representatives and Student Representative training through the development of communication material, Student Representative Handbook, and other training materials.
- Survey Planning and Reporting: Responsible for planning, delivering, and reporting on Module and student satisfaction surveys.
- Event Promotion: In collaboration with the Dean of Students and Marketing Department, coordinate the promotion of all student engagement activities.
- Quality Monitoring: Update Student Programme Handbooks with Quality Managers in time for the new Academic Year.
- Student Engagement: Ensure GBS students are informed of and engaged with academic standards and quality activities.
- Reporting: Contribute to the writing of the GBS Annual Quality Monitoring Report and associated documents.
- Special Projects: Take on special projects as required and related to the role of Student Engagement Officer.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written skills with experience of report writing.
- Data Analysis: Ability to compile, analyse, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to incorporate into reports.
- Confidentiality: Able to deal with sensitive student data.
- Travel: Willing to travel to GBS campuses, as appropriate.
