Overview

We are looking for a Salesforce Solutions Analyst who will report directly to the Commercial Solutions Manager. This role requires in-office presence three days a week, with the option to work remotely for two days.

The Salesforce Solutions Analyst will collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Developers, Business Users, and Customers. This position is vital for documenting and comprehending current business processes, implementing enhancements, and deploying Salesforce-based solutions. The ideal candidate must facilitate business process review sessions with stakeholders, document workflows, and create business requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders are essential. A results-oriented mindset, persistence, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role. The candidate should demonstrate experience in researching, understanding, and applying Salesforce Applications to meet business needs within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities: Discovery Sessions & Business Process Documentation

Conducting discovery sessions with stakeholders across all organizational levels

  • Analyze, evaluate, and document business processes utilizing Visio and lean methodologies.
  • Leverage best practices and functional expertise within the scope of Commercial Applications to drive organizational change through business process redesign.
  • Exhibit strong process orientation with proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, as well as business process modeling/mapping.
  • Validate and document business needs, distinguishing between essential requirements and preferences, and identifying gaps between business needs and standard Salesforce functionality.
  • Document software application requirements using the Agile Framework of user stories with acceptance criteria in our agile tool.

Key Responsibilities: Solution Design

Project Management – The Salesforce Solutions Analyst will oversee the execution of projects related to new Salesforce deployments for designated business units. Project management will encompass the following activities:

  • Story grooming, estimation, prioritization, and sprint planning with the commercial team.
  • Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and oversee project execution.
  • Manage sprints to ensure the completion of user stories linked to projects.
  • Communicate project status and key milestones to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to ensure projects remain on schedule, adjusting resources and priorities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities: Testing and Training

  • Create, document, and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate the integrity and accuracy of business processes, module functionalities, modifications, enhancements, and patches.
  • Develop training content and materials, including video walkthroughs, step-by-step instruction guides, and training presentations.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new and existing Salesforce users, either in person or via conferencing technology.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Document recurring issues and propose solutions for resolution.
  • Maintain business process documentation in both flowchart and narrative formats as necessary to support compliance.
  • Assist in establishing team priorities based on business significance, financial impact, and operational effects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
