Administrative Sales Support Specialist

The role of the Sales Support Coordinator entails providing essential assistance to the sales department by handling inquiries and processing orders, actively seeking new business opportunities, and facilitating effective communication with clients.
Job OverviewCompensation:
£22,500 - £24,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (early finish at 2:45 PM on Fridays)
Key Responsibilities
- Generate quotes and sales orders utilizing MRP/ERP systems.
- Act as a point of contact between clients and the organization, delivering precise and comprehensive information.
- Assist the sales team by providing relevant data and insights.
- Foster client relationships and keep them informed regarding material availability and obsolete components.
- Compile data for reporting and manage sales order processing.
- Maintain client records and performance metrics.
- Provide support to colleagues and take on additional administrative tasks as required.
- Perform any other reasonable duties that enhance the operational efficiency of the business.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
- Confident phone etiquette and a customer-centric mindset.
- Professional demeanor with the adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A minimum of one year of administrative experience, ideally within the electronics sector.
