Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team. This role involves providing Design Authority expertise across our range of APNT products, guiding the technical direction throughout the product lifecycle—from requirements gathering to design, testing, and production.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team, providing technical leadership and direction.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to customer engagement and technical strategy discussions.
  • Oversee the generation of technical documentation and manage requirements through the design lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to resolve complex technical challenges related to GPS Anti-Jam products.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and ensure compliance with verification and validation standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development and contributing to team success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development at a leadership level.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design and thermal product design.
  • Understanding of RF concepts and experience with analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Proven systems engineering experience in product development.
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively and prioritize engineering activities.
  • Degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent industry certification.
  • Eligible for or currently holding SC security clearance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with hardware product development as a Design Authority.
  • Familiarity with schematic and PCB layout tools.
  • Knowledge of GNSS systems and their characteristics.
