About the Role

Copello Global is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Systems team and contribute to the development of Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing, qualification, and certification activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support to the System Design Authority: Collaborate with the Systems Engineering Team leadership to provide customer support, production support, and obsolescence maintenance for our established products.
  • Project Requirements Management: Manage project requirements, generate technical documentation, and participate in technical design reviews.
  • Bid Proposal Support: Support the development of bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests.
  • Technical Design Support: Provide design support for our next-generation products and undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance.
  • Autonomous Work: Work independently, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management, and participate in laboratory work for product testing.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to project completion.
  • Technical Documentation: Experience with generating technical documentation at all levels.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight.
  • Education: Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
Desirable Skills
  • GNSS Systems: Knowledge of GNSS systems and receiver characteristics.
  • IBM Rational DOORS: Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset.
  • RF and Digital Hardware: Experience with RF (including Antennas) and Digital Hardware design and test.
  • Algorithm Development: Experience with algorithm development incorporating modeling experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Systems Modeling: Experience with SysML or UML in a Systems Engineering environment.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management systems.
