Senior Systems Engineer

Copello Global is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Harlow, working in a hybrid environment with an early finish on Fridays. As a key member of our Systems team, you will be responsible for producing Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing, qualification, and certification activities.
  • Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team leadership for customer support, production support, and obsolescence maintenance of our established products.
  • Manage project requirements, generate technical documentation, and participate in technical design reviews.
  • Support bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests and define and design support for our next generation products.
  • Undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to project completion.
  • Experience with generation of technical documentation at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management.
  • Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of GNSS systems and receiver characteristics.
  • Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset.
  • Experience with RF (including Antennas) and Digital Hardware design and test.
  • Algorithm development incorporating Modelling experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience with SysMl or UML in a Systems Engineering environment.
  • Experience with configuration management systems.
