Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Harlow. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing and certification activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team leadership for customer support, production support, and obsolescence maintenance of established products.
  2. Manage project requirements, technical documentation, systems analysis and design work, and participate in technical design reviews.
  3. Undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to project completion.
  2. Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
  3. Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset.
  4. Experience with RF (including antennas) and digital hardware design and test.
  5. Experience with SysML or UML in a Systems Engineering environment.
  6. Experience with configuration management systems.
