About the Role

Copello Global is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Systems team and contribute to the development of Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing, qualification, and certification activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team leadership in customer support, production support, and obsolescence maintenance of our established products.
  • Manage project requirements and generate technical documentation, including Systems Analysis and Design work and participation in technical design reviews.
  • Support bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests, and contribute to the definition and design of our next-generation products.
  • Undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
  • Work in a highly technical environment, supporting the team and working autonomously, with laboratory work involved for product testing.
  • Take on complex challenges and produce solutions that follow company processes in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to project completion.
  • Experience with generation of technical documentation at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management.
  • Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of GNSS systems and receiver characteristics.
  • Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset.
  • Experience with RF (including Antennas) and Digital Hardware design and test.
  • Algorithm development incorporating Modelling experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience with SysMl or UML in a Systems Engineering environment.
  • Experience with configuration management systems.
Clearance Requirements

SC Clearance must be obtainable for this role.
