Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and subsystems using model-based design techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex systems and subsystems using model-based design techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless operation
  • Develop and maintain system models and simulations to support design and testing
  • Conduct trade studies and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency
  • Develop and implement system testing and validation plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or other STEM field
  • Experience with MathWorks toolsets such as MATLAB and Simulink
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eligible or holder of current SC security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant commercial experience in model-based design
  • Weapon systems domain knowledge and/or experience in a similar field
  • Relevant model-based system engineering experience and/or knowledge
  • Familiarity with software auto-code generation and/or C/C++ code design
  • Experience in use of software development environments and associated configuration management and task management tools
