Job Title: Senior RF Systems Engineer

Location: Harlow

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF systems for our GPS/GNSS Anti-Jam products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF systems for GPS/GNSS Anti-Jam products
  • Develop requirements for new products and lead the design and development process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into product designs
  • Develop and implement RF test solutions
  • Produce design documentation and reports for project artefacts and deliverables
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to develop and shape technical requirements
  • Solve complex technical problems and provide technical leadership
  • Support and mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in RF system design and development
  • Experience in design for manufacture and testing
  • Good knowledge of product design and problem-solving within a design for manufacture environment
  • Familiarity with Microwavesimulators (Cadence preferred), PCB layout and Mechanical modelling tools
  • Experience in full system design lifecycle and ability to take an overall systems view
  • Good team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in interpretation of customer specs and end use environments
  • Experience in design for manufacture for high volume product
  • Analytical engineer with experience in circuit simulation and thermal analysis
  • Experience with interfacing to RF circuitry and high-speed D/A /A/D conversion
  • Experience using the Mentor Graphics tool suite
