Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Kelly Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our accounting team and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end management accounts
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
  • Prepare third-party and intercompany bank payments
  • Manage VAT accounting and reporting, including preparation and filing of Intrastat returns
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly staff payroll
  • Perform ad-hoc finance administration tasks, including staff expenses
  • Conduct credit control tasks

Requirements:

  • AAT or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous financial experience, ideally in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Payroll background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
