About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Professional to join our team at Spencer Private Hospitals Ltd. As a Staff Nurse on our Ward Margate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the maintenance of high-quality care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients in a compassionate and caring manner
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans without supervision
- Practice in accordance with the NMC codes, The Code, and any other mandatory or organizational standards
- Participate in and contribute to the implementation of change strategies aimed at improving professional practice and the overall efficiency of the ward or department
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing standards that reflect customer requirements and professional best practice
- Carry out planned care for a group of patients without direct supervision, providing individualized patient care
- Provide professional leadership, advice, and guidance within the team, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records in line with professional standards
- Have responsibility for the administration and custody of medicines in line with Spencer Private Hospitals (SPH) policy and professional standards
Person Specification
- Diploma or Degree
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Teaching and Assessing Course or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience in surgical/medical/OPD environment with a knowledge and understanding of surgical/medical/OPD procedures
- Delivery of evidence-based practice
- Demonstrates a patient focus approach
- One year post-registration experience (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent employee relations track record
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Computer skills
- Good time management
