Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse Outpatients Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Team at Spencer Private Hospitals Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality individualized care to patients undergoing Pre-Admission Assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support during Pre-Admission Assessment
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Pre-Assessment Unit
- Collaborate with the OPD Manager and OPD Sister to promote health and well-being for patients and their families
- Ensure professional standards of care are maintained within the unit, adhering to NMC Codes and other mandatory standards
- Proven experience in a surgical ward/outpatient environment with a broad knowledge of specialist surgical procedures
- Practical pre-assessment knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of ASA Grading
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Up-to-date knowledge of professional nursing issues within multi-specialist fields
- Performance and competence in venepuncture and observations, ECGs, and relevant diagnostics
- Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Good time management skills
- Flexible and tactful
- Caring and friendly personality
- Able to cope under pressure
- Ability to act as a role model for best practice
- Supportive to staff and committed to staff development
- Committed to providing a quality clinical service
- Registered Nurse 1st level
- Proven experience post registration/equivalent experience
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above
