Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse Outpatients Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Team at Spencer Private Hospital in Margate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality individualized care to patients undergoing Pre-Admission Assessment.
About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of nurses, led by the Matron, to provide exceptional care to patients from a range of specialties, including gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, and urology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality individualized care to patients undergoing Pre-Admission Assessment
- Actively participate and contribute to the running of the Pre-Assessment Unit
- Promote health and well-being for patients and their families, working alongside the OPD Manager and OPD Sister
- Be responsible for the professional standards of care within the unit, ensuring that nursing practice is in line with standards laid down within the NMC Codes, The Code, and other mandatory and organisational standards
We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with excellent clinic skills in minor procedures and diagnostics. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must. You will also need to have a proven track record of working in a surgical ward or outpatient environment, with a broad knowledge and understanding of specialist surgical procedures.
