Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse Outpatients Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient and Pre-Assessment Team at Spencer Private Hospital in Margate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality individualized care to patients undergoing pre-admission assessments.
Main Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care while conducting pre-admission assessments.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the Pre-Assessment Unit.
- Collaborate with the OPD Manager and OPD Sister to promote health and well-being for patients and their families.
- Maintain professional standards of care within the unit, adhering to NMC Codes and other organizational standards.
Spencer Private Hospital is a small private establishment offering a range of services, including surgical and orthopaedic care. Our team of highly skilled nurses, led by the Matron, provides exceptional care to patients from a variety of specialties. We are committed to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient satisfaction and well-being.
Person Specification- Proven experience in a surgical ward or outpatient environment.
- Knowledge of ASA Grading and practical pre-assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of professional nursing issues within multi-specialist fields.
- Performance and competence in venepuncture and observations, ECGs, and relevant diagnostics.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good time management skills.
