About the Role
Spencer Private Hospitals Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ward Margate. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care to patients in a compassionate and caring manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans without supervision.
- Practice in accordance with the NMC codes, The Code (2018), and any other mandatory or organizational standards.
- Participate in and contribute to the implementation of change strategies aimed at improving professional practice and the overall efficiency of the ward or department.
- Contribute to the maintenance of patient care standards and assist with the implementation of changes to care delivery systems, methods, and nursing practice.
- Carry out planned care for a group of patients without direct supervision, providing individualized patient care.
- Provide professional leadership, advice, and guidance within the team, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records in line with professional standards.
- Have responsibility for the administration and custody of medicines in line with Spencer Private Hospitals (SPH) policy and professional standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
- Experience in a surgical/medical environment with a knowledge and understanding of surgical/medical procedures.
- Delivery of evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrates a patient focus approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Computer skills.
- Good time management.
