The Role: Deputy Nursing Manager

As a Deputy Nursing Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and managing our dedicated team of care professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents within our residential nursing service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring smooth running and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of each resident.
  • Conduct comprehensive care needs assessments and monitor residents' progress effectively.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a team of care staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with current NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a care management role within a residential setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery.
