About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at MacIntyre. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism to live fulfilling lives.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality support to our service users, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations. This may involve supporting them with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores, as well as encouraging them to participate in activities and hobbies that bring them joy.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a Support Worker, you will need to be flexible, patient, and understanding, with a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of our service users.

You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple service users, and will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively. A driving license and manual vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to transport service users on occasion.
