About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Martin House in St Albans. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Our service provides 24-hour supported housing for 16 individuals, and we are committed to creating a person-centered environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housing-related support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and helping them to access community resources.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that residents receive comprehensive support and care.
  • Support residents with substance/alcohol misuse and recovery, and work in partnership with specialist providers to ensure they receive the best possible care.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a Support Worker, you will need to be able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and be willing to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.

You will need to have a commitment to equality and diversity, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A driving license and access to a vehicle for work are also essential.
