About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Martin House in St Albans. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

The successful candidate will work across 3 days, including Monday and Thursday afternoons, and alternating Saturday and Sunday mornings. You will be part of a dedicated team, working together to provide a person-centered environment that supports the needs and aspirations of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housing-related support to residents, including support plans and risk assessments to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work in partnership with specialist providers, such as community mental health teams, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Support service users with substance/alcohol misuse and recovery, promoting a positive approach to their well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an excellent service, working flexibly to meet the needs of our service users.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. If you have experience in a care setting or health and social care field, and are able to work as part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

You will need to be able to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and have a driving license and access to a vehicle for work.
