Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust: Mental Health Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Home Crisis Treatment team in South West Staffordshire, based at St Georges Hospital in Stafford.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing mental health crises in individuals referred to the service and supporting the delivery of safe and effective home treatment for an identified client group and in accordance with a wellbeing and recovery action plan.

You will work in close partnership with Staffordshire Police and Mental Health Services, and be part of a team that puts people at the heart of what we do.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessing mental health crises and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Delivering high-quality nursing care to service users referred to the team.
  • Implementing agreed systems for monitoring the effectiveness of care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health Professional with extensive post-registration experience working with adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.

  • Knowledge of NMC/HCPC Code of Conduct relevant to profession.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health NICE Guidelines.
