Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Acute Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients and their families, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate care plans for patients, working collaboratively with the team to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Provide nursing interventions to support patients in achieving their goals, coordinating and participating in the review of progress towards those goals.
  • Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, ensuring continuity of care and effective leadership.
  • Participate in therapeutic group work programs, contributing to the development of a supportive and inclusive environment.

Person Specification
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, active on NMC Register.
  • Experience of formulating assessments, planning, coordinating, and supporting people within a hospital setting.
  • Experience of providing care and interventions within a health setting, including specialist mental health settings.
