Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Inpatient Older Adult

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Older Adults and Dementia Mental Health Baswich Ward at St Georges Hospital Stafford, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
  2. Act as a named nurse to a group of patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Participate in therapeutic group work programs, promoting patient engagement and empowerment.
  4. Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
  5. Assess patient care needs and contribute to the development of relevant care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  6. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, provide nursing interventions to support patients in achieving their goals and coordinate progress reviews.
