Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Employment Adviser to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As an Employment Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed jobseekers in finding and sustaining employment, engaging with employers, and promoting our services within the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Meet with jobseekers to identify challenges and barriers to employment, and provide guidance on CV writing and job application processes.
  • Training and Development: Book jobseekers onto relevant training courses, including customer service, security, hospitality, personal development, and IT literacy.
  • Employer Engagement: Liaise with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers and promote our services within the local community.
  • Outreach and Promotion: Conduct outreach work to promote Reed in Partnership within the local community and engage with employers to raise awareness of our services.
Requirements
  • Coaching and Mentoring Experience: Demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills through previous work or social activities.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Experience of working in a customer-facing environment, such as customer services, hospitality, social care, or sales.
  • Performance-Driven Environment: Experience of working in a performance-target-driven environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally to meet customers and employers.
  • Education: A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma, and GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
