Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Analyst to join our Reward team at Checkout. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting key projects and partnering with business departments on all aspects of compensation.

About the Role

  • Support the business and our People team with day-to-day compensation queries, exploring policy and process improvements, and providing subject matter expertise in terms of local and global aspects of our offering.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to provide guidance on offers, handle questions from prospective hires, and build data and insights to get ahead of market trends or hiring challenges.
  • Partner closely with our People Partners to support the delivery of our policies locally and globally through our departmental or regional business groups, and support with ad hoc matters that concern total reward.
  • Partner with the wider People team during business changes, country transfers, peer parity reviews, and any other ad-hoc projects.
  • Drive the delivery of the annual performance and pay review processes, including partnering with our talent development and people technology teams.
  • Conduct in-depth compensation analysis during compensation cycles for your business area and work with leaders and managers to guide and support compensation decisions.
  • Participate in cyclical benchmark exercises, salary survey submissions, and salary bands review/creation for your business areas in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Provide training, education, and awareness across Checkout for both colleagues and managers to support reward policies and messaging.
  • Work with the wider Reward and Finance team to model and budget for compensation reviews for salaries and bonuses, and support with any other initiatives.
  • Partner on thought leadership and share knowledge and experience of different reward practices, including performance pay, sales commissions/incentives, and recognition.
  • Further develop policies and processes to support efficiencies and operational excellence, including process, reporting, and documentation.
