Underwriting Operations Manager

We are partnering with a leading insurance group at Lloyd's to fill the role of Underwriting Operations Technician.
Role Overview:
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in underwriting operations who is eager to step up to a senior position.
This is a permanent role with a hybrid model, requiring 2 or 3 days in the office.
The Senior Underwriting Operations Technician will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and enhancing Underwriting Operations services and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Underwriting Support Model to the Marine and Aviation underwriting teams.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure tasks outlined in the Underwriting Operations task list are efficiently transitioned from the underwriting teams to Underwriting Operations.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Underwriting Operations Assistant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (Intermediate level).
- Comfortable with using in-house underwriting management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of meeting deadlines.
Education:
- GCSE Maths and English grade B or above (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 other GCSEs grade C or above.
