The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HR Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining employee satisfaction and organisational efficiency by handling day-to-day HR tasks and administrative duties, assisting in the hiring process, and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough DBS and right to work checks, verifying the authenticity of documentation.
  • Lead and support staff recruitment processes, including application and shortlisting, scheduling and conducting interviews, and preparing offers and contracts of employment.
  • Coordinate new starter inductions, including health and safety briefings and HR document distribution.
  • Assist the finance department with monthly spreadsheets, focusing on leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules.


  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms, ensuring timely reimbursement.
  • Develop and present regular reports and presentations on HR metrics, including turnover rates.


  • Schedule periodic staff reviews across all departments, including probationary reviews.
  • Coordinate and assist with periodic processes, such as auditing information accuracy, collating appraisal documentation, and auditing training logs.
  • Accurately record meeting minutes for management.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the HR department, including participation in project work.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in an HR administration or recruitment role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display empathy and sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems is desirable, but not essential.
  • CIPD Level 3 or above qualification is desirable, but not essential.
This is a full-time position, working 08:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will receive 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
