The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HR Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining employee satisfaction and organisational efficiency by handling day-to-day HR tasks and administrative duties, assisting in the hiring process, and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct thorough DBS and right to work checks, verifying the authenticity of documentation.
- Lead and support staff recruitment processes, including application and shortlisting, scheduling and conducting interviews, and preparing offers and contracts of employment.
- Coordinate new starter inductions, including health and safety briefings and HR document distribution.
- Assist the finance department with monthly spreadsheets, focusing on leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules.
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms, ensuring timely reimbursement.
- Develop and present regular reports and presentations on HR metrics, including turnover rates.
- Schedule periodic staff reviews across all departments, including probationary reviews.
- Coordinate and assist with periodic processes, such as auditing information accuracy, collating appraisal documentation, and auditing training logs.
- Accurately record meeting minutes for management.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the HR department, including participation in project work.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Previous experience in an HR administration or recruitment role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display empathy and sensitivity.
- Knowledge of HR software and systems is desirable, but not essential.
- CIPD Level 3 or above qualification is desirable, but not essential.
