HR Assistant

Churchill Retirement Living is seeking an HR Apprentice to support the HR team in our Head Office based in Ringwood. As an HR Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the attraction, wellbeing, and development of our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Support the recruitment team with screening CVs, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and arranging interviews
- Respond to queries in the HR mailboxes and ensure that all colleagues receive timely responses to their queries
- Produce documentation, such as new starter offers and contracts, promotions, employee changes, and references
- Ensure our HR system (PeopleHR) is kept up to date with any employee updates
- Assist with the starter and leaver processes
- Support the learning & development team with organizing training
- Provide a high level of customer service to all of our colleagues
As an HR Apprentice, you will gain a broad base of knowledge and experience that will set you up for your future career in HR. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy and professional HR team, supporting the attraction, wellbeing, and development of our colleagues.
Requirements- A keen interest in HR and people-related matters
- Previous work experience, ideally in a role that requires interaction with customers or people
- Excellent computer and keyboard skills, particularly relating to Microsoft applications
- Good interpersonal and administrative skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues
- Proactive approach to work
- Accurate and methodical
- Confidential and discreet
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Starting salary of £10,159
