About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior HR Business Partner to join our team at Jeld-Wen's Sheffield site. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic HR support to our business leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers, providing HR solutions for people-related business challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance standards and internal policy and procedures.
  • Utilize HR systems (e.g. PeoplePoint) in compliance with business processes and SOX standards.
  • Support the Senior HRBP and site HRBP with ad-hoc projects.
  • Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including absence management, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance to internal policies and procedures.
  • Delivery of site KPIs including staff turnover rates, absence rates, headcount people planning.
Requirements
  • Experience in advising and supporting line managers.
  • Experience in HR administration and system navigation.
  • Ideal experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment.
  • Experience partnering with line managers and middle managers, and handling employee relations issues within this environment.
  • Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of Human Resources, including employment law, employee relations, compliance management in a large organization, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, absence management, organizational planning, leadership development, coaching, training, engagement, and building trust.
  • CiPD level 3 professional qualification.
