About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Education Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant and/or Cover Supervisor in mainstream secondary schools across Sheffield. As a Graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain paid work in a rewarding environment, supporting pupils with learning disabilities, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vital support to teachers and pupils in mainstream secondary schools
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and devise strategies to overcome barriers to learning
  • Help pupils get the most out of their time in education
Requirements
  • Live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a good standard of spoken and written English
  • Have a warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Either have completed or be working towards a qualification such as Sport and Exercise Science, Sports coaching, PE and school sport, sports performance, Psychology, Sociology, Business studies, Humanities, Mathematics, English Literature/Language, Science, Technologies and languages
  • Be willing to work in mainstream secondary school settings in the capacity of a Teaching Assistant and/or Cover Supervisor
