- **Cash Flow Forecasting**: Produce project/operational cash flow forecasts and support credit control routines related to major projects.
- **Financial Reconciliation**: Ensure the integrity of Protean-driven control accounts, including WIP, stock, and PO accruals.
- **Financial Investigations**: Take ownership and reconcile project balance sheets, including WIP, cost accruals, and deferred/accrued income.
- **Audit Preparation**: Assist with annual audit preparation and delivery.
- **Financial Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement effective solutions.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with other areas of the finance team, the Head of Finance, and other reports to the Finance Director to ensure overall objectives are delivered.
- **Ad Hoc Projects**: Undertake ad hoc investigations and projects as requested by the Head of Finance, Finance Director, Managing Director, and senior management team.
- **Qualifications**: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills internal and external
- **Microsoft Office Skills**: Microsoft Office skills essential
- **Excel Skills**: Strong Excel skills, comfortable working with large sets of data
- **Attention to Detail**: Excellent attention to detail
- **Systems and Technical Abilities**: Strong systems and technical abilities
- **Salary**: Salary is £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
