About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate DBT therapist to lead our growing team at Priory Hospital North London. As the DBT Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering exceptional mental health care within our outpatient program.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical leadership to our DBT team, ensuring adherence to NICE guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-programme assessments and pre-commitment sessions for potential clients.
  • Facilitate engaging and effective DBT group sessions, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  • Collaborate with our central and regional teams to ensure seamless program delivery and integration.
  • Monitor and evaluate the clinical effectiveness of the program, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
  • Provide supervision and support to team members, promoting professional development and growth.

About You

You are a dedicated and experienced DBT therapist with a strong understanding of the theory and practice. Your interpersonal skills are exceptional, allowing you to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike. You possess excellent communication and leadership qualities, enabling you to effectively manage a complex clinical program.

Essential Requirements

  • BACP accreditation (or working towards it)
  • Proven experience in delivering DBT therapy
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
