About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapist to join our Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Service at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to adolescents and their families, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our DBT program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, manage, plan, and deliver care to allocated patients, maintaining professional and legal accountability
  • Support peers, work effectively independently and as part of a team, and supervise pre-registration students
  • Ensure adherence to the DBT model within the service, providing specialist assessments and therapy to young people and their families
  • Manage caseload, provide specialist supervision, consultation, and training to team members
  • Contribute to the team's clinical work and be accountable to the CAMHS Strategic Clinical Lead for London
Requirements
  • Highly specialized clinical psychology service experience, with a focus on DBT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our DBT program
