Senior Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Therapist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
Main Responsibilities:
- To assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
- To develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients.
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and swallowing strategies are implemented.
- To provide training and education to patients, carers, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques.
- To maintain accurate and contemporaneous records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- BSc or recognized postgraduate MSc or diploma in speech and language therapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Postgraduate training in communication disorders and aphasia therapy.
- Member of RCSLT.
- Supervision Course.
