Your Role at Cygnet

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals within our care. You'll work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to facilitate recovery and well-being.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to service users, assisting them in navigating challenges and achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and advocate for their rights.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external agencies to ensure seamless coordination of services.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to inform treatment planning and progress monitoring.
Your Expertise

We're seeking a Registered Social Worker with a passion for mental health. You'll possess:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a mental health setting or a strong desire to contribute to this field.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality, and equality & diversity principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong report writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
