As a Senior Patient Care Coordinator, you will be an integral part of a well-organized team committed to delivering exceptional care during outpatient visits.

Detailed Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering personalized care in alignment with established local and national standards.
- Assisting with the safe movement and handling of patients.
- Collecting samples for testing, including urine, sputum, and blood samples.
- Supporting patients in meeting their nutritional needs according to their care plans.
- Gaining proficiency in performing ECGs, blood draws, and other relevant tasks.
- Carrying out clinical duties pertinent to your area of expertise as required.
- Ensuring patient safety by adhering to health, safety, and security regulations.
- Contributing to the maintenance of high care standards to enhance patient outcomes.
- Promoting equality in care by recognizing and respecting individual needs and preferences.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Education
Essential Criteria
- GCSE Maths & English grade C or above / Grade 4 - 9 OR Functional/Key skills level 2 in numeracy and literacy.
- Completion of BNCS or NVQ / Internal Level 2 training program.
- Willingness to undertake and complete the Trust internal Level 3 training program promptly.
Desirable Criteria
- Level 3 QCF diploma in healthcare / NVQ level 3.
Knowledge
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an acute healthcare or related environment.
- Understanding of health and safety protocols within healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with confidentiality principles and practices.
- Awareness of the responsibilities of a senior healthcare assistant.
