Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Booking Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, general practitioners, and optometrists, you will play a critical role in processing referrals, booking appointments, and providing exceptional service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process referrals and book patient appointments using our booking system
  • Liaise with primary, community, and secondary care providers using a mix of telephone and online e-referral, NHS, and in-house IT systems
  • Perform ad hoc administration duties as necessary
  • Work effectively and efficiently to meet CHEC standards

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, ability to work as part of a team, IT literacy, and strong communication skills. If you have empathy and patience with referrals, and can work under pressure to service levels, we would love to hear from you.
