Main duties of the job

About the RoleWe are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Preston. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and coordinating events, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The Events Coordinator will be accountable for holding regular webinars, open evenings and anniversary celebrations for each of our hospitals.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can.Plan and coordinate a wide range of eventsResearch and select suitable venues, vendors, and service providers.Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that events are delivered within budget.Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodation, catering, and equipment rental.Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure their participation in events.Ensuring all CPD sessions are registered and that qualifying attendees are able to collect their CPD pointsWork with Marketing to promote events through social media, email marketing, and other channels.Attend events and manage on-site logistics, including set-up, registration, and troubleshooting.Ensuring events plans are kept up to date, using a project management tool

What youll bring to the role: Proven experience in event planning and coordination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software. Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
