About the Role
CHEC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our marketing team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of events, including conferences, workshops, and product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and service providers
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that events are delivered within budget
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodation, catering, and equipment rental
- Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure their participation in events
- Work with Marketing to promote events through social media, email marketing, and other channels
Requirements
- Degree in Events Management, Marketing, or other related field
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience of exhibiting at large industry events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
