We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Radiologist to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and reporting investigations performed using cross-sectional imaging techniques, including CT and MRI.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise and report investigations performed using cross-sectional imaging techniques, including CT and MRI.
- Develop research projects in the Centre and contribute to the development of new imaging techniques.
- Perform or interpret the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computer tomography (CT).
- Document the performance, interpretation, or outcomes of all procedures performed.
- Prepare and present comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
- Communicate examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, or families.

Key Requirements- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practice.
- FRCR Membership or qualification of an equivalent level.
- Evidence of being up to date and fit to practice safely, and aware of own training needs.
- Ability to offer and be accountable for full and independent expert diagnostic opinion.
- Can show evidence in leading on patient safety issues and achieving a change in practice.
