We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team at Quantum Group. As a key member of our Commercial Real Estate lending team, you will be responsible for originating, writing, and managing loan against property/commercial real estate lending business for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Origination and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with brokers and clients, and develop a deep understanding of the commercial real estate market.
- Credit Application and Risk Management: Write and present credit applications, coordinate with underwriters, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulatory frameworks.
- Facility Management: Manage post-approval requirements, facilitate drawdown of facilities, and ensure timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Marketing and Sales: Utilize effective marketing and sales promotional tools to raise the company's profile in the target segment and build strong relationships with industry partners.
- Customer Service and Quality Maintenance: Provide exceptional customer service, maintain high levels of quality, and ensure compliance with conduct risk requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Successfully interact with internal stakeholders, brokers, and vendors, and exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Project Management: Undertake projects and assignments as directed by management, and contribute to the smooth operation of the team.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Ability to network with potential clients and build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Commercial Property Knowledge: Sound knowledge and competency in commercial property/asset-backed loans in the UK, including property valuation, quality, and marketability.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of regulations driving the property or asset-backed loans and/or mortgage market in the UK.
- Credit Assessment and Negotiation: Credit note writing and credit assessment skills, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Business Development and Product Development: Ability to contribute towards product development, refining lending policies to suit market requirements.
