Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a candidate with strong proficiency in Excel for managing extensive datasets and various inputs. This role is heavily focused on data analysis and executing comprehensive reporting. We also require a methodical, process-oriented individual to assess and implement new procedures.

As a crucial member of the sourcing operations team, you will assist in achieving the 'Product' component of our Sustainability Strategy. This involves ensuring that our manufacturing partners adhere to our stringent ethical and environmental standards through our assessment and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will support the tracking of sustainable materials used in our products (such as cotton and leather) and our packaging (including plastic and paper) to evaluate our progress towards our commitments. Furthermore, you will engage with customers and team members to educate them about responsible sourcing and celebrate our achievements.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Exceptional IT skills with proven experience in Excel.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and ethical fashion.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within sustainability or a commercial context.

Main Duties:

Factory Compliance and Auditing:

  • Conduct daily Sedex reports and identify new audits.
  • Maintain and update the Responsible Sourcing database in Excel.
  • Download audits and prepare feedback for suppliers.
  • Update the factory list for internal systems and the company website biannually.

Raw Material Sourcing:

Administration of certifications:

  • Maintain the Factory Scope Certifications database, ensuring valid certifications are documented.
  • Review the Leather Tracker for data accuracy and documentation.
  • Collect all Leaping Bunny declarations and update trackers accordingly.
  • Assist in managing the Lenzing tracker and request certifications from suppliers.
  • Oversee Better Cotton Transactions and maintain the portal weekly.
  • Ensure Textile Exchange certification trackers are updated with relevant documents.

Reporting:

  • Run and download system reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy and provide feedback on discrepancies.
  • Support weekly and monthly KPI reporting.

General Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the sourcing inbox and forward inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Engage regularly in sourcing webinars, news, and training materials.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding certifications, audits, and training.
  • Assist the sourcing team with ad hoc projects and activities.
