Role Summary

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the supply chain by driving continuous improvement and demonstrating the impact of these efforts. This role is analytical in nature and requires an individual who is organized, efficient, and capable of delivering precise reporting.

A key aspect of this position is to ensure that FatFace achieves its responsible sourcing objectives, necessitating a solid understanding of raw material standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain raw material tracking systems
  • Generate responsible sourcing reports, including monthly KPI reports, tracker reports, and audit documentation
  • Support B Corp initiatives by compiling and providing necessary data
  • Manage critical paths and understand the buying calendar
  • Possess knowledge of raw material standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers and train purchasing teams to uphold raw material KPIs, ensuring timely collection of certifications and accurate data for audits
  • Review social and environmental documentation from suppliers, such as certificates and policies
  • Understand ethical trade practices and onboarding processes
  • Achieve additional material targets through supplier training, validating product claims, and establishing monitoring systems
  • Engage product teams on sustainable materials and processes, supporting marketing and communication efforts
  • Contribute to corporate sustainability reporting and updates on the company website
  • Align with the company's social and environmental mission, championing impactful actions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
  • Project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with systems such as Board and D365
  • Background in raw materials or textiles is advantageous
  • Interest in environmental issues
  • Awareness of emerging legislation and the ability to identify and communicate risks
  • Proficient in documenting processes and sharing information
  • Experience in textiles, supply chain, and operational areas, particularly regarding standards, fabric certifications, audit processes, and corrective action planning
  • A genuine passion for responsible products and sustainability
