The position requires working on Mondays and Fridays, with a commitment of 6 hours each day, along with flexibility to cover additional shifts as necessary.
Client Background and Support Requirements:
Our client resides with family and requires support in a rural home setting. They have interests in various activities such as cooking, baking, arts and crafts, board games, and photography. Support will include assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and ensuring the client's living spaces are clean and safe, particularly due to their health condition.
When engaging in community activities, your role will be to ensure the client's safety and well-being, fostering a fun and engaging environment tailored to their abilities.

All training will adhere to CQC standards and must be completed prior to commencing work. Training hours will be compensated at minimum wage.
Essential Qualifications for Candidates:
- Must have reliable transportation to the rural area.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism is essential.
- Flexibility to cover for absences and adjust working hours as needed.
- This position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with The Equality Act 2010.
- An enhanced DBS check is required, with costs covered by HomeCareDirect.
- Commitment to providing long-term, person-centered care for the client.
- Willingness to undergo training to meet CQC standards.
- Adherence to company policies and a commitment to confidentiality and respect for the client.
