We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Care Direct. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a young man with special needs, autism, and limited mobility.

About the Client:

Our client lives at home with his family in a rural setting and requires support with daily living activities. He enjoys a variety of hobbies, including cooking, baking, crafts, and photography. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, meal preparation, and household management, as well as supporting him in his daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with meal preparation, cleaning, and tidying
  • Support our client in his daily activities, including hobbies and interests
  • Assist with loading and unloading the client's scooter into the van
  • Ensure the client's living spaces are safe and well-maintained

Requirements:

We are looking for a caring and flexible individual who is able to work on a Monday and Friday, 6 hours each day. You should also be willing to cover additional shifts when needed.
